This eLearning Stream has been setup specifically for Rangatahi who are either not in school, or preparing for work or tertiary study. We also welcome their whānau and teachers to participant in the course as there is content relevant for everyone including how to be safe online.
This self-directed course covers topics like using a Chromebook, sending emails and saving to the cloud, using Google Meets and Zoom for video conferencing, signing up to online services, to more intermediate topics like Google Classroom for teaching, or setting up your Facebook Business Page.Ngā mihi,

Pre-Requirements
You can expect two separate emails to be sent to you after registering:
Did you register previously?
If you registered previously, you can visit https://ako.kanorau.nz to access the course. You won't be sent any emails if you have, so please contact us if you need help.
You will need a Google account for parts of this course. Here is a short video that can help you setup a Gmail/Google account. Once your email account has been created and you're in the Kanorau eLearning module, we recommend doing the 'Introduction to Google' module.
Ask for Help: Ask a family member or friend who has digital skills to help support you register and get online for this self-directed eLearning course. You will get the hang of it once you have received a little bit of help.
If you have an issue with your Coassemble account or the platform where the content is hosted, please call us on 0800 526 672 or email us at kanorau@twoa.ac.nz to ask for support.
Alternatively, you can now register for the Zoom support sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays by clicking here.
